IPOB’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title and decorated as the ‘Greatest Warrior’ of Biafra Land.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu in his past tapes via RadioBiafra vowed to never to associate with ”Yoruba People” or any the Corrupt Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi’Igbo.
He also vowed never to associate with past of present Governors of Nigeria, urging his followers to kill him, if he breaks this oath.
In his words, he said ”There is a question in the minds of many people as well. How are we going to be sure that Nnamdi Kanu and the Editorial Board of RadioBiafra, the Executive council of the Indigenous People of Biafra will not derail in this struggle”.

”I have said this before and I will keep saying it every blessed day, Any day I come back and tell that you can go and hug Yoruba People and love them, Any day I come back and say to you that you can befriend Rochas Okorocha, Orji Uzor Kalu, any of these Governors, or any member of the corrupt leadership of Ohaneze, that same day I please urge you to kill me, because I am no longer worthy to exist”.
Top leaders of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) have said that the United Nations (UN) was well-disposed to their demand for a referendum on Biafra.
They said that the UN may announce a date for the referendum before the end of July.
The leaders said that IPOB had intensified international lobby for the UN to facilitate a plebiscite for the people of Biafra to decide if they would continue to be part of a united Nigeria or have their separate country.
A senior IPOB leader in Umuahia, Abia State, said that some influential world powers and members of the UN Security Council had shown positive responses to the request.
He hinted that IPOB had secured an appointment with one of the world powers to agree on a date for the referendum which would later be communicated to the Nigerian government through the UN.
The IPOB leader said that the date would be announced after the meeting scheduled before the end of this month.
He also claimed that an important Middle East country has formally recognised Biafra.
The official said that an envoy of the country conveyed the news during a recent visit to the IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, in Umuahia.
In an exclusive interview in Abuja, last week, a Middle Eastern diplomat explained why his country officially recognized Biafra.
The diplomat said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s support for Palestine had not gone down well with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as all Jews.
He said that Buhari’s pledge to help “our brothers and sisters in Palestine” attain independence was considered a serious provocation to the Israeli government.
Buhari had, during a visit last year to Qatar, promised the Emir (Head of State) Tamim Bin Hammad Al-Thani, that “we will stand side by side with you, until our brothers and sisters in Palestine achieve their desired objectives (independence).”
The IPOB leader, who is very close to Kanu, said that Biafra would be realised soon.
He regretted that instead of supporting the agitation, some “lily-livered Igbo political elites are singing discordant tunes because of their selfish interests,” but noted that “they cannot stop the moving train”.
His words: “Anybody trying to quell the agitation for Biafra is just joking because the agitation for Biafra is a mass movement; it has gone beyond even Nnamdi Kanu. It is now a moving train.”

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu is currently in Imo State.
The IPOB leader was accompanied by his wife, Uchechi Okwu-Kanu amongst other IPOB principal officers.
Despite a heavy downpour, there was still a massive crowd following the vehicle conveying Kanu as many were heard chanting ‘Rochas must obey Biafra’.
This comes as Okorocha was alleged to have paid for a pro-Nigeria rally at Heartland stadium Owerri.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that Nigerians must do everything possible to stop the agitation for Biafra led by Nnamdi Kanu.
He stressed that failure to do so could lead to a repeat of the 1966 coup and the events that led to unprecedented bloodshed in the country.
He said this at the International Conference Centre, Abuja during the launch of the biography of late Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari on Tuesday.
According to Obasanjo, the top most lessons for Nigerians to learn from unfolding events in the country are that the nation has had enough of tragedies.
“What lesson can we learn? The lesson we can learn is that we have had enough tragedies in this country.
So far, since 1999, it seems that we have got it right. Let us hope that we continue to get it right and learn that Nigeria has had enough of bloodshed, enough of sacrifices by those victims, that Nigeria deserves peace, unity and progress,” Obasanjo asserted.
The two-time Head of State also gave reasons for some of the decision taken by his government in his second coming as civilian president in 1999
He said he decided to retire Maimalari’s son who was the then Military Administrator of Jigawa State for certain reasons.
Obasanjo said: “I have no apology but I have explanation. It’s because it’s necessary to stop this sort of things that took the life of your father prematurely, that we had to take the decision that all those who have tasted power, that they should never have tasted, of political office that we should ease them out of the Army so that we can have an Army that is free from political aberration.”
Ex-Militant warlord and leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force, NDPSF, Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, has thrown his support for the current agitation for the sovereign state of Biafra.
According to Asari, Biafra will be independent whether some people in the country like it or not, as he further noted that the agitation is not a call for war but a “Leave us let us go” call.
Here’s what he told a Vanguard correspondent;
“I’m not a Nigerian. Nations are not imposed on people. People don’t sit down in Berlin or anywhere and make people Nigerians. Nations are created by the will of the people. My people have never accepted Nigeria and so, how can I be a Nigerian? Nobody can impose Nigeria on me.” “The free will of the people create nations. If everybody gathered together, the Ijaw people, you know which includes the kalabari people, nobody forced the Kalabari people to become Ijaw people, because naturally, they know they are Ijaw people.” “So, nobody will force an Owerri man, an Nkwere man to be an Igbo person, he naturally knows he is an Igbo person.”
“So, if we want to be Nigerians, then we have to sit down, and decide for ourselves that today, we are going to be, or as separate identities, and accept Nigeria as our country, as our nation and we become Nigerians. We’ve not done that.” “When I go up north, do they see me as a Nigerian? They don’t! They call me ‘Nyamiri.’ They call me Nyamiri! When I go to Yoruba land, do they see me as a Nigerian? They call me ‘Omo Kobokobo.’ That’s what they call me! Omo Kobokobo.”
“ When a Yoruba man goes up north, they call him ‘Oyede Banza.’ When a Fulani man comes up to Yoruba land, what do they call him? They call him Gambari!” “I used to hear a story that there were about three people in a bus and the driver asked the conductor, how many people were in the bus and the conductor said two persons and one Gambari. He said shut up your mouth, is Gambari not a human being? But the conductor said that is your business o, me I know that in this bus there are two persons and one Gamari.” “
So, if in the north there is a riot, they don’t kill Senegalese, they don’t kill British, they don’t kill Lebanese, they will kill a Yoruba man. They will kill an Igbo man, they will kill an Ijaw man. They will kill an Efik man, they will kill others but they will not kill a Lebanese, they don’t kill a Senegalese, they don’t kill Nigerien or Malian. That clearly shows that they don’t need you.”
“Listen to the interview of that rogue that they are celebrating. People who joined to steal Ijaw people’s resources, Ahmadu Bello. What did he say in his interview? ‘That if they want to employ people in the north, they will first of all take Europeans and so on, then when it comes, if they are going to consider Africans they will take Sudanese and so on but when they are going to consider other Nigerians, they will take them on contract. It is there, they can’t deny it.”
. But me, I’m not a Nigerian, I will never be a Nigerian!” On his thoughts about Biafran agitation “I’m a Biafran! Yes, in 1967, Biafra was declared and my people were part of the declaration of Biafra. The man who gave the name Biafra to Biafra was an Ijaw man, Chief Frank Opigbo. The man who first plaid the Biafran national anthem was Cardinal Rex Jim Lawson…1967 declaration of Biafra, I am a Biafran. So, the agitation, I am part of the agitation for the realization of the sovereign state of biafra.
Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Tuesday visited Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
In a video obtained by DAILY POST, Kanu was hailed in Igbo language by his admirers.
Some called him ‘Igwee’ (King), while some referred to him as ‘Ebubedike’.
Kanu is seen acknowledging the crowd’s cheer, while he was ushered into a waiting vehicle.
The IPOB leader waved as the vehicle moved on, even as the crowd continued to shout his praises.
His mission to the oil-rich state is not yet known
Meanwhile, IPOB has hinted that it will ride on the wings of the United Nations, UN, charters which allows group seeking secession to exploit civildisobedience in achieving its mandate of Biafra.
IPOB said this in response to some Northern elders like Tanko Yakassai, who alleged that the group was calling for another civil war by insisting on the restoration of Biafra.
