Kantoma village in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State was yesterday thrown into confusion when gunmen attacked the community, killing three persons.
A member of the community, Ulama Joseph, told Daily Sun on phone that when the attackers left, three people were discovered dead, with the head of one of the victims cut off and taken away.
Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, Abu Emmanuel who confirmed the incident, said gunmen attacked the village and beheaded a member of the community and took the head away.
