Yaya Toure has beaten Vincent Enyeama and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to win the 2014 African Player of the Year at the Ongoing GLO-CAF Awards happening right now at the Eko Hotel & Suites.

The Ivory Coast player went head-to-head against Nigeria’s Vincent Enyeama and Gabon Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the Award in African football.

“Nigerians would want Vincent to win the award, but it will be Yaya Toure again” predicted former Nigeria international Jonathan Akpoborie.

Meanwhile Yaya Toure has been superb through out last year by winning the English Premier League Title with Manchester City, he also has been really consistent as the drives good force for the Manchester City Attack, and oh yes, he scores vital goals
